For the second year in a row, Balistreri owned and operated Sendik’s Food Markets has partnered with the Milwaukee County Zoo to support a key summer fun experience. This year’s exhibit, “Adventure Dinosaur,” features more than 20 dinosaur models, including a never-before-seen, 300-pound, 15-foot long adult Massospondylus and its baby.

The exhibit will open this Saturday, May 26 and run through Monday, September 3. Visitors will have the chance to see life-like, motorized dinosaurs and even peek inside one of the models to examine the inner workings. Sendik’s representatives will be on hand during select dates of the exhibit’s run, including opening day, to pass out coupons and samples for Zoo guests.

After first teaming up with the Zoo on last year’s “Butterflies!” show, Sendik’s was excited to sponsor this family-friendly experience.

“We are proud to partner with the Milwaukee County Zoo to provide families with an opportunity to enjoy a world class experience in our hometown,”  said Margaret Harris, who owns Sendik’s, along with brothers Ted, Patrick and Nick Balistreri.  “We hope that the ‘Adventure Dinosaur’ exhibit will delight everyone as much as it did our families!  Once again, the Zoo has surpassed our expectations and offered us a wonderful experience to share with family and friends.”

“Adventure Dinosaur” is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. To read more about the exhibit, and all the Zoo’s offerings, please visit
