As in seasons past, Sendik’s — home of the Famous Red Bag — made a $100 donation to the MACC Fund (Opens in a new window) for each stolen bag by the Crew during the 2016 season. We’ve partnered with the MACC Fund during recent holiday seasons to sell the MACC*Stars, among other holiday events, and this addition to the partnership helps raise awareness for the charity throughout the year.
“The MACC Fund does fantastic work in our community fighting childhood cancer,” said Nick Balistreri, family co-owner of Sendik’s. “We think this is a great, fun way to help support their mission and expand our partnership. We all love cheering on the Brewers. And of course, we’ll also now be cheering for even more stolen bases this season.”
