Enjoy Sendik's All Week

Hello all and welcome to another edition of Enjoy Sendik’s All Week.  Here’s what you’ll likely be served with a smile if you show up to Dinner with the DamFam anytime between now and next Tuesday.

One of the best blustery day meals I have in my repertoire is this delicious Winter Vegetable & Beef Soup — it’s one of those I love to make on a Friday afternoon and have on hand for lunches throughout the weekend.  It calls for beef stew meat, but if you don’t mind dicing your own, Sendik’s Natural USDA Choice Black Angus Boneless Chuck Roasts are on sale this week.  Also look for sale Jumbo Idaho Potatoes, and Dei Fratelli Tomatoes.  Premium Saltines are also on sale for serving alongside.

Sendik’s Natural Pork Tenderloin Value Packs are on sale, and when they are, I usually snap up two packages.  I make a double batch of my favorite Honey Ginger marinade and divide it between two large Ziplock bags.  Add two tenderloins to each bag and squeeze out the air.  Then put one in the fridge for 8 hours and stash the other one in the freezer for a rainy day.  Sooooooo super easy, delicious, and kid friendly too.  Serve the pork over mashed potatoes or simple basmati rice.  Yum.

Lastly if you’re in the mood for fish, Almond Crusted Tilapia is an awesome recipe and makes great use of Sendik’s Catch of the Week.  This is my favorite way to prepare this mild (“tastes like chicken!”), kid friendly fish.  Sendik’s Natural Farm Raised Fresh Tilapia Fillets are on sale.
