Rodney Strong Chardonnay

Established in 1959. Sonoma County's magical combination of climate and soil produce some of the world's finest wine grapes. Nearly forty years ago, Rodney Strong planted Chardonnay in the gravelly soils here just twenty miles from the cooling Pacific Ocean. After a long, cool growing season, the 2004 vintage was picked under ideal harvest conditions, and aged in small oak barrels. It exhibits lemon and apple aromas with hints of toasty oak, and on the palate, pear, pineapple, and refreshing acidity. Our passion for Sonoma County wine runs deep. We hope you enjoy it.
