Santa Barbara Winery Sauvignon Blanc, Santa Ynez Valley, 2005

The Musque clone of Sauvignon Blanc adapts well to our cool climate Lafond Vineyard in the western Santa Ynez Valley. Partial barrel fermentation produced a rich texture and enhanced the intense floral aroma, varietal spiciness, and citrus fruit flavors. Serve with grilled fish topped with fruit and pepper salsa, scallops, shrimp, and crab cakes. Also excellent with Pacific Rum cuisine. 13.7% Alc. by vol.
