DV Catena Tinto Red Blend

Domingo Vicente Catena. They called him Don Domingo. This is his original red blend. The people of Buenos Aires were eternally grateful. Domingo Vicente Catena was famous in the 1930’s for his deep dark red blend. This wine was sold in the bistros of Buenos Aires as the finest wine from the Mendoza region. His blend consisted of an assemblage of the best fruit from the old vines of Maipu and Rivadavia, and the dark-colored fruit of the Uco Valley. D.V. Catena Tinto Historico is a blend of 75% Malbec, 19% Bonarda and 6% Petit Verdot made to honor Don Domingo’s legendary abilities as a master blend.
