Color blending chart:
Blend drops as indicated.
Red: orange 1, light orange 1, dark blue 1, brown 2, violet 2, orchid 3.
Blue: dark blue 6, green blue 1, violet 1, blue green 4, orchid 1.
Green: green blue 2, brown 1, olive green 1, blue green 1.
Yellow: orange 4, light orange 10, brown 1, olive green 1.
Colored eggs:
Combine 1/4 tsp. color, 2 tsp. white vinegar and 2/3 cup boiling water. Using a spoon, dip hard boiled eggs.
Tinted icing:
For pastel colors, use 2 to 3 drops of food color per cup frosting. Blend well to avoid streaks. To obtain deeper shades, add one or more additional drops of color.
