Age in Bourbon barrels for 6 months. Our Zinfandel has big, bold raspberry and black pepper flavors, bolstered with rich vanilla from our 6 months aging process in Bourbon Barrels. Harvested from Mendocino County, this Zinfandel undergoes a one year aging process in barrel. First, the wine is aged six months in American oak in order to let the Zinfandel mature and bring out the bright characteristics of the grape. Then, it's aged an additional six months in Bourbon Barrels to add vanilla and smoky notes that bring complexity to the finish on this wine. 14.5% alc by vol.
