Experience the “Best to You” with a behind-the-scenes look at Wisconsin’s favorite market. Our interactive tours turn the grocery store into a classroom, offering students a hands-on look at commerce, nutrition, and community. Available at the following stores: Germantown, Grafton, Mequon, Brookfield – The Corners, Hartland, West Bend, Waukesha-Meadowbrook, New Berlin, Greenfield, Oconomowoc, Franklin

Tour Highlights*

The Garden & Hearth: Watch the orange juice machine in action, sample “exotic” produce (like Dragon Fruit!), and learn the difference between “wants” (donuts) and “needs” (whole grains) in the Bakery.

The Butcher & Cheese: Touch a live lobster (if you’re brave!), see massive wheels of cheese before they are cut, and sample local summer sausage.

The Greenhouse: Explore the floral coolers and receive a fresh stem flower to take home.

Operations Center: Step into the backroom to see our “Grind to Energy” system and cardboard crushers to learn how we protect the planet.
The Junior Associate Experience
The highlight of every trip! Students move to the front of the store where our registers are set to Training Mode. Every child gets a turn behind the counter to scan items and experience what it’s like to be a Sendik’s Associate.

Field Trip Details
- Field Trips are available to be booked from April 14 – June 5, 2026.
- They are conducted on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays only from 10am – 12pm.
- Group size is a minimum of 10 students and requires a teacher and chaperone. Groups of 15-25 students require a teacher and 2 chaperones.
- Field trips must be booked two weeks in advance of trip date.
- Upon arrival to the store the day of the field trip, the bus should park in the front of the store closest to entry, and the teacher should go to the customer service desk to communicate their arrival.
